Lucky post day

In fact, the lucky post day occurred a bit more than a week ago, but was stubbornly waiting for a bit of sun to take photos in daylight. The sun didn't really cooperate much, but at least I managed to catch some daylight yesterday.
So, let me show you my second Giveaway Day win, the cushion/pillow from Allison:

If you remember, for the giveaway Allison asked to write 3 words (plus 2 bonus words for followers) describing the pillow/cushion we would like to get from her. Mine were texty, scrappy, triangles and linen background and it turned out perfect. I love everything about the it, and the choice of fabrics is just great. And most of the fabrics (including the shot cottons) are those I like very much but haven't had the opportunity to see in person before.
Allison, once again, thank you so much.
The pillow form is not the final one, I'm getting a bigger one, but it looks great even with the smaller pillow form and I wanted to use it straight away. And as you can see, with the mixture of colours and the navy triangles it goes very well with my not exactly armchair little sofa.
I got a cute sparkly card, too:

And if it wasn't enough, I also got a parcel from my cousin and I don't want to make you too envious, but I just need to show you the bag I received:

Linen and French General is just the perfect combination. Not to mention that French General fabrics love is something we share with my two quilting cousins and also my non-quilting Mum and sis.

And the bag is just the right size for my new project - my first ever shawl (not counting the much too short shawl and a couple of headbands I made in primary school it's my first knitting project).
